HOW YOUNG PEOPLE ARE SHAPING THE FUTURE OF SUSTAINABLE FASHION.

What is the mean by shaping the future of sustainable fashion?

This is an area that up rising a major thread to the environment and social sustainability, due to the rapid change in fashion designing industry every year billions of clothing are wasted due to the move for new fashion. Therefore, it is becoming a huge tread for the world, so we need to come up with new solution for this issue in order to prevent environment as well as human health, so this is the era that need to come with sustainable fashion

Why need to move for sustainable fashion?

No one every care about how many clothes are just wasted per and no one care how these clothes are made from. They only think about what new design or fashion is going to come next. But there are huge wastage is caused due to fabric wastage. Therefore we need to move for sustainable manufacturing of clothes in order to prevent wastage and environment pollution.

What is the impact of fabric manufacturing to the world?

There is a immense impact on fabric manufacturing to the environment as well as living beings in this plant. If we look at what are the impacts, you’re going to be relay disappointed why we should waste this much of clothes.

These are impact on fabric manufacturing,

v 10% of greenhouse emission is occur due to the fabric manufacturing. And that is much more higher impact of all the international shipping and international air pollution happened in a year.

v Garbage trucks are fill up with wasted clothing and ton of clothing are burn as waste for a year and huge amount of clothes use to landfilling. This cause death lands and and carbon emission.

v Washing one synthetic garment release about 2000 plastic micro fibers that enter the ocean and food chain, that put million of ocean species lives in danger and pollute the water sources.

v 2700 liters users for a one cotton shirt and that is equal to one person drinking water for 2.5 year.

v Making and washing one pair of jeans emits the same co2 as driving 69 miles.

v 120 millions of trees are cut down every year to make clothes

v Up to 16% of the world’s pesticides are used in cotton farming every year that chemicals degrade soil and pollute water as well as poisoning cotton pickers.

                                                                            Wasted wools from fabric industry.

Due to the immense pollution what are the steps that can take to produce the fabric manufacturing.

There are several methods can take to sustainably shaping the fashion industry. It opens a new window for fashion industry to come up with new fashion without harming to the environment.

These are the step world takes for betterment of fabric manufacturing.

1.    Design out waste and pollution.

2.    Keep products and materials in use.

3.    Regenerate natural systems

1.DESIGN OUT WASTE AND POLLUTION.

What is mean by design out waste and pollution means it is that we should make sure that fabric that produce can be re-usable and it need to be recycle easily without having huge cost. And then firms can use huge dump of textile wastage for re-creation process easily that reduce immense damage that happened due to the textile wastage. And it save can billions of dollars of money.

2.KEEP PRODUCTS AND MATERIALS IN USE.

Under this fabric organization take step to reduce the amount of material need to produce the fabric. So they done lot of experiments and find new ways to manufacture fabric by reducing the impact that causers to nature

This is the way that the U.S denim company called Wrangler take pioneer step to do this change,

The US denim maker Wrangler has collaborated with Texas Tech University to remove water from the dying process. This is an exciting endeavor, since the conventional jeans die process uses thousands of gallons of water.

Wrangler revealed at the beginning of June that they had done so. This is an advancement that is worth praising. They call it Indigood, man. It is a foam made from a chemical-free soap agent that totally removes water and decreases waste and energy consumption by 60%. Wrangler has also begun to incorporate 30% of recycled cotton to the jeans.

They have made promises to power 100% solar electricity and 100% organic cotton by 2025. Commitments like these by major brands are contributing to developments like Indigood. This is not the first water-free dying process to reach the market, just the most recent. DyeCoo has launched the first large-scale water-free dying process and has been collaborating with giants including Nike since 2013. Another firm called the Vienna Textile Lab uses naturally present bacteria to produce beautiful colors.

Due to this method plenty of natural resource can be save and able to protect environment from green house gassers and other chemicals that dumps in to the sea. So this is the step that should take by every organization that engaged in fabric industry in order to shaping sustainable fabric industry.

Using Bacteria to make incredible colors

3.REGENERATE NATURAL SYSTEMS

The overwhelming size of the apparel industry has contributed greatly to the destruction of safe soils and the depletion of biodiversity. This is largely attributed to poor agricultural methods and the use of pesticides. Today, it is a goliath issue that has a strong effect on climate change.

The remedy is regenerative farming technique. Regeneration International describes it as "practices that, among other benefits, reverse global warming by rebuilding soil organic matter and restore damaged soil biodiversity – both by reducing carbon and improving the water cycle.

" The CEO of Patagonia, a leader in sustainable design, claims that regenerative agricultural methods would be so effective that they would "sequester all the world's carbon." It would be a crucial movement for the apparel industry (and the world) to accept, and we are excited to see the credential finalized.

ETHICAL CONSUMPTION AND FASHION IN SLOW MOTION

We agree that looking beautiful and happy in our own clothing does not cost the world dearly. The sustainability of sustainable fashion lies squarely on the hands of buyers, and it is time to look hard at the other side of sustainable fashion, known as ethical consumption.

There are so many ways of becoming ethical customers when it comes to clothes. Thrift shopping, fabric swaps and orders by organic and responsible clothing firms are just a few suggestions. Yet there's an exciting upward trend that promises to change the way we think of fashion.

The antithesis of quick fashion is sluggish. It is a more acceptable behavior to style that moves the emphasis from relentless consumption to mindful transactions that last. Slow fashion designers release fewer collections during the year to build high-quality, recycled apparel.

At the end of the day, slow fashion is telling us to simplify our closet and concentrate on timeless, key items that can rotate depending on the season for years to come. Yeah, high-quality, organic clothes can cost more, but if you adopt the slow fashion theory, you save money since you purchase less.

Changing clothes due to changing new fashion.

IT TIME TO REIMAGINE OUR FASHION

As for many sustainability problems, sniffing out environmental fashion faux pas requires thought and awareness. But it definitely doesn't need any super-powers. With today's access to knowledge, we agree that it is more possible to be an aware user than at any other point in history.

It's a safe place to start in your own wardrobe. As buyers, we need to be sustainable fashionistas in order to keep ourselves and the world looking fantastic! Owing to the endless imagination of innumerable people around the world, the fashion industry will have a prosperous future.
